Weave Free (for a minute)

I had this done at the beginning of Sept. My new stylist in Seattle has been working with my natural hair. Meaning I haven't had a relaxer since November 2006. And let me tell you, it has NOT been easy managing this hair.

I just had my hair done again this past week-end. Because my natural hair (no chemicals) is extremely "curly" and course it's not easy to manage. So my stylist put a texturizer in my hair before pressing and styling. It's actually helped me alot because I can roll my hair at night without drama. Well without ALOT of drama.

My goal is to let my hair grow as long as it possible can with a few chemicals as possible.

This is sorta what my hair looked like after I left the shop. Of course it ain't NEVER the same as when you first get up from the stylist's chair. LOL

Purty! I dont' know why people assume that natural hair is so easy to manage. Your hair definitely looks healthy which is my #1 goal regardless of length. I've been natural for about 7 yrs. now. Love it!
I think it's beautiful.
